We investigate New Wave style—once considered ‘punk’ for its subversion of clean, stark minimalism—and ground our approach in the typographic and experimental spirit of AIGA Medalist Wolfgang Weingart.

Ad Design

A successful commercial artist captures attention and provocatively blurs the boundaries between fine art and mainstream aesthetics. To craft and communicate clear messages in mainstream advertising, agencies enlist some of the most inventive creative minds available. Creativity should draw real people forward; we invoke Blondie’s song “Rapture” to remind audiences that meaning is a construct of the listener, not solely the speaker.
